  • Department offers course in VII semester on synthesis and drug technology in the form of lectures, seminars and laboratories to the students of Faculty of Pharmacy and graduate teaching in IX and X semester.
Research activity:
  • Molecular basis of antitumour drug-DNA interactions
  • Synthesis and structure-activity studies of cytotoxic minor groove binders and topoisomerase I/II inhibitors
  • Design and synthesis anticancer prodrugs which are inactive until locally activated by some tumour-associated enzyme.
